The SLD range of ultra-slim surge protection units are designed to protect process control signals from the effects of high voltage transients and overloads.
THe SLD67-7 has a clamping voltage of 7V which makes it ideal for thermocouples, photcells and other low voltage process control signals.
A range of other clamping voltages are provided for other signals such as mA loops, 0-10V signals, RTD's, digital inputs and RS232/485 communications links.
Connection to earth is automatic via a DIN rail clip which has a large surface are to maximise the discharge current and minimise the chance of any damage occuring. The ultra compact 6.7mm design makes themm both space saving as well as cost saving !
